Have message Front drivers door open .. On Dash computer scrolling across . and also had problems with central locking. any ideas more than welcome .. also speedo stops working for a while and then starts working again after a few minutes   Fustrating

Check the door switch which is on the door sill of the A pillar. Just screw it off using torx allen key, pull the switch out carefully to ensure the connector comes out as well through the narrow aperture. If it remain inside you may need to use tweezers to pull it out. Once out you can check and clean  the connector and also clean the switch using electrical contact cleaner. Reinstall and do final checks and if it doesn't work just replace. All the best.
