Try or

They both make independant heaters which use a small burner to heat the engine coolant.
They can be used with a timer or remote control for pre-heating.

The other type, which is a small electric heating element that is fitted in place of one of the engine block core plugs, uses mains 220v.
A socket is fitted under the bonnet,or behind the grille, and a cable is then plugged in with the other end plugged into a mains outlet.
Not sure who makes this type, but try Bosch or Hella.

Defa does electrical plug-in heaters, and I think they're also available in the UK.
Berlingo due in June.
