Small flashing triangle

Hi guys.
Looking for conformation. Having returned from my test drive and asking what the small flashing triangle was, top right in the small odometer screen. I've been told it's an indicator to tell you to change gear. Is this correct or is it waffle from a salesman.
I also noticed the car did seem to steer to the left, but as my last car also done that I'm used to it. The tyre wear did look even.

Thanks for that. It just worried me that a Citroen dealer was having to guess what a flashing triangle was as he hadn't seen it before.
