Hi everyone, this is my first post as I am new to the forum. I picked up a Mk1 Berlingo 1.4i 2002 Multispace today and the radio is missing. I am looking for a cheep unit to fill the hole. If it is a cassette unit that's fine. I am near Manchester airport so could collect local or will pay post. I understand it will need vin programme, anyone got one?

Ebay is your friend and some of the sellers on there will code the stereo for you so all you have to do is fit it.

Not sure but I don't think you need to programme a non-genuine unit. Plenty about, even Halfords are quite cheap. Probs come with connecting up so just check other topics on here for details of "How To"...

Be aware that the bog standard Berlingo radios are CANbus enabled.
I installed a third party Pioneer unit and it works fine....except that the radio continues to operate for 30 seconds after I remove the ignition key and shut the door. Then, if I open the door the radio starts up again!
It's all to do with the start up/shut down of voltage rails in the car...
I could wire it into the cigarette lighter so that it behaves normally, but I can't be bothered and have got use to it now.
