Recon axle
#1
The axle on my multispace failed a few weeks ago, I got a recon axle from Oman mechanical solutions in Scotland. They have taken over the fraser brown axle refurb operation. Have to say, the axle they supplied was first class. Even the garage who fitted it were impressed. Axle cost £360 + £65 delivery. They pick up your old unit at their cost. Managed to get a fixed price of £200 for fitting from my local garage, although that increased by another £90 for two rear wheel bearings, that were an advisory on the mot. Not a cheap fix, but cheaper than buying antother car. One thing I have noticed is that I don't bang my head off the top of the rear doors anymore, just shows how much it had dropped. Can highly reccomend them if your looking for a recon axle.
