Hello All
It is with serious regret that I had to take Berl back to the dealer I got him from yesterday.
I bought the car in good faith, etc, etc, and didnt get an rac/aa report. The car was pulling to the left. Dealer told me to check tyres and tracking blah blah blah. I took it to local tyre place and they told me that the tyre pressure was too low on all tyres (22 psi on the worst), and that one of the front tyres was below legal limit, despite it having a new mot from dealer. I bought four new tyres, had them balanced etc and hoped that was the end of the tragedy. The vehicle still pulled to the left unfortunately.
I decided to get an rac report. The results were so sad. There was a catalogue of serious issues, plus the vehicle had been in some kind of collision and had one of the rear side panels done, without it showing up on the hpi report.
Enough was enough and I took Berl back yesterday and got a refund, minus the rac report and minus cost of two new back tyres.
I must say that although i only had Berl for a very short time, I had grown to the Berlingo space, etc. I am considering getting another one - obviously with an rac/aa report before buying.
One thing did come to light during my little time spent with Berl, and that is the DPF needing replacing at 75k (recommended by citroen), so im now wondering about getting a petrol one.
Anyway I hope to be back on this forum with another Berlingo, or possibly a Teepee.
