Hi Guys,
I have just bought a Multispace 2.0 HDi on an 03 reg, mk2. Is this a common fault on the 2.0?
My dad has had 4 of these in the mk1 van version with a 1.9D engine, one did 500,000 before he sold it and is still going, oil and filter change every 6000, anyway none of his has had this problem but trawling the net and it seems to be more common on the mark 2. The blower in mine was dodgy on when I bought it, it would come on only when you pushed the switch itself inward or pushed the plastic mounting around it inward and it would also come on. I'm suspecting the switch itself, but not having stripped one of these down before, I have our Rover 45 and my old Zafira, are they pretty much the same? The resistor pack on the fan itself and having to take the whole unit to change it is a new one on me, but I'm no mechanic, also one of the bulbs has gone, is it easy to get to the unit itself and change?
