Hi, I have had my 2002 1.9 diesel Berlingo for two whole days and seem to have a major problem. Driving along the motorway I felt a judder almost as if I was running out of fuel (gauge showing just under quarter of a tank). A few more judders and the engine stopped running - I managed to coast to the hard shoulder and eventually she started again and, driving ok, I managed to get off the motorway. This happened 3 or 4 times on the remains few miles home. With apologies if this has been covered elsewhere any ideas or advice?

Like Jed says ,
Change fuel filter first as nine times out of ten this is the problem when you have loss of power when your high speed running

Cheers, getting this sorted today so hopefully will solve the problem. It's not just at high speed now but fingers crossed.

Apparently fuel filter is fine, diesel pump has been mentioned as a possibility!
