Hi All
A few days ago my Berlingo started making a kind of chirping noise when the van was in motion, idle it didn't make a sound. The noise was similar to the noise when the serpentine belt is on it's way out, I've recently had the whole serpentine belt and pulley assembly replaced as the person that had it before me had shimmed it and wrecked the whole lot. Over the days the noise has got worse and now it chirps as soon as the engine is started. It doesn't seem to get faster the faster I go just a constant chirp. Strange thing is is when I'm cruising if I put my foot on the clutch the noise goes away until I take my foot off the clutch. It seems to be when the rev counter moves it starts. Anyone any ideas what this could be?Â
Thanks
