]I have a 2007 berlingo 1.9d.all gears drive properly but when engaging 5th it goes in okay and drives okay but as soon as it s in gear stick feel as though its in neutral or even more sloppy.wiggling it doesn't disengage gear. When you come to change down its hard to locate where you are in the gear box and you have to be careful of hitting reverse which is behind five ,Having checked the linkages it seems play is in the gear box ,so I'm assuming it may be selector forks perhaps .Does anyone have experience of these faults. Are forks for 5th in main gearbox or in end section I'm going to remove end plate which is 5th gear.Anything under this plate I should look out for .I read about a rivet that gives out on selector forks is this in main gear box .is this gearbox removal? Is it worth repairing are spares available or better to buy used box my box has only done 40,000.Any ideas would be appreciated from people who have worked on this gearbox thank you
