The Dial for some reason is stuck and very difficult/dodgy to move without breaking it, What is this likely to be? and how do I remove the facia? do I need to take the stereo out? if I do will I need a code?

My first guess would be the control's linkage is seized. There are five pages of tutorials here and I seem to remember one dealing with the removal
of the facia. You don't say which Berlingo you have though.

If its a factory fit radio its coded to the car so you can unplug it and plug it back in no problem.
