I'm beginning to suspect the MKI air box is the reason there's less power now. I may have to go back to the MKII air box.
I've found the connections for vacuum, tried different ways, no improvement in power.
Butterfly valve seems horizontal all the time.
I've taken the EGR blank out just in case if affected the MAF sensor somehow. No change so I put the blank disc back there where the C-clip connects the elbow pipe to the intake.
The MKII air box is square and probably hold more air volume than the cylindrical MKI air box. So maybe less air would account for the less power?
Sorry for all the posts but I've really been testing the options thru process if elimination and the air box change is the one thing left I can think of.
