Rear footwell space
#1
Hi all,

New to the forum, just bought a mk3 berlingo, going to use it for jobs at the weekend, and noticed a decent space under the floor, behind the seats, question is, will there be a good space where the footwell would be for a teepee, under the metal floor? Or is the chassis/design different for a van

Thank for any help

With a tepee/multispace with the seats removed, the floor steps down at the point where the front of the seat base would be. So what would be under the floor in a van is open space in the seated version. It's where your feet would go if you were sitting on the back seat.

So the floor is all flat from the tailgate opening going forward, then there's a step downwards about a foot before you bump into the backs of the front seats. It's all fully carpeted.
