Before I start snapping any more expensive French plastic, can anyone give me hints on how to gain access to the rear speakers ?
It looks like the vertical trim needs to be removed before the lower black trim, but I'm struggling on finding out the knack to get these off.
(On my first attempt at the vertical, I've managed to snap all of the trim inserts and mangled the hidden side clips - so I'm guessing a trip to ebay and stealers is required to get parts to sort that - double sided foam tape at the moment)
On a side note, I've noticed that I have the wires for tweeters in the dash - but no speakers, can anyone confirm if a high/mid pass filter would already be installed - or should I add a capacitor aswell ?
Thanks all

Somewhere on this forum is the downloadable manual for the B9, I cannot find it at the mo. It does have a section on interior trim removal and replacement, and shows the suggested tools to use.

Think I've already spotted, downloaded and saved that helpful resource.
here
It doesn't seem to match the trim that I have tho, eg the vertical bit shows 2 clips (m) and 2 clips (18)
However on the one I removed it had 3 clips (18) and 3 clips (m)
The black panel beneath doesn't seem to be joined the same way either.
I was wondering if there was a difference on the XTR vs the standard?
I'm not ignoring the possibility of me not having the correct "knack"

That's a shame. the original post for the manual was 2011 so it is possible that Citroen have modified it since, and yes the XTR could be different.

Trim removal tools I've found very useful, but always helpful knowing what you are aiming at first (as with so many things in life lol)
Anyone got any suggestions regarding the tweeter issue ?
I've seen other people say they have the holes but no wires --- I've got the holes and do have wires -- if they are parallel to the normal speakers then I'll need some way of blocking the low frequencies from the tweeters (capacitor) - but should I just leave the door speakers to take everything, or should I limit them aswell ?

Hi geoffes
I was going to ask a question about rear speakers on an XTR but looks like you are already on it!
Do they already even have rear speakers? My rear speakers are silent and the stereo has no "front back" setting? Before I go back to the dealer I just wondered if it even has them??
