Bonkers Berlingos that appear across the inter-web. There mad, there bad and there beyond the reach of us mere mortals. Berlingos gone BAD..!

Who in there right minds would do this to small French van, there are some very wild and crazy people out there and I want everything they make... In all the colours of the rainbow.

The first is probably illegal on the road in most countries as the wheels extend outside, but yeah, I could imagine pulling alongside a Hummer, blowing the driver of that monstrosity a raspberry, then cruising off to the beach to pick up chicks..

The second is unfortunately just a small-scale model.
There was a company that rebuilt the CX to 6wheeler, but not as a pickup, though. Was quite popular for newspaper delivery.
(The 2.4 TD engine allowed it to go like clappers even with a ton of newspapers in the back. That meant deadline could be pushed back and they could still get it delivered on time)

The third is probably available if you ask Dangel...

I like the Dangel conversion, Citroen ought to do a version like Renault with the Trekka Kangoo.
So where does this bit go then ?

This Berlingo is an older custom 'Beach Berlingo' which I think is very nice.. Smile  I think the idea of a custom pick-up body shell is a great idea. Its like a two seat beach buggy but on a Berlingo. If you added the Dangel 4-by-4 drive system it would be a great all-round-off-roadie-fun machine.
