I sleep in my Berlingo to help me on my way to hiking all the National Trails. I therefore have to leave my Mk111(13 reg) for a whole day. I get public transport/taxi back to the van in the evening.
I was walking the Pennine Bridleway in the Yorkshire Dales at the weekend and it occurred me a car alarm would deter and I thought also a roof box would help with storage, maybe security, but are they attacked easily or often? The vehicle is left on a village/town near a Station/or habitation of some sort. Is it wise to get my local Citroen dealer to fit these items?
I do have small safe in the car but it is fairly obvious with the bed and such that there will be some stuff of note in the vehicle and if I put up the screens in the day to stop viewing they might themselves might attract attention that there is something of value in the car- which will be bed gear and cooking items.
