Why bother with getting old hoses from a car that's being broken up?
New hoses aren't that expensive, and are much less likely to fail the first few years.

sorry about the really late reply but work has been non stop

As far as the hoses are concerned, the one i was looking for i was quoted £64 but i got 2mtr of the same rated hose on ebay for £6 and re routed it and its all fine now

I guess £29 each isn't too much but its recommended that both are changed so then its £58 and I'm on a small budget and its an old van so I don't want to be spending out and before you know it the van becomes a money pit.
Its not the way I want it.

Finally got the mirror sorted from ebay but thanks for you reply.
Didn't get the classy type you offered but it was a standard one for £21 new so I just got it.

You did oriiginally ask for 1 drum.
You can do better than £29 ea.

If money is tight, why not change the one that's needed, and replace the other one as funds allow? (Best to fit new shoes too)
