KNOCKING/VIBRATION NOISE COMING FROM NSF

Did you find a solution to this? I would be very interested to know if you did. We replaced the NSF front spring too last week, and have the same rattling problem. We've had the car up on the ramps today and checked everything, and can't find a cause either...

HELP!!

Further investigation today shows it to be a knackered strut top. In the pic attached, the line with a "2" next to it points to the deteriorated rubber around the centre cup. This had been allowing the centre cup to hit the edge - the dark mark pointed to by line "1" shows the contact mark around the edge. I replaced the strut top and put a new bearing in, and the rattling has now gone.

Citroen *DID* recommend I replaced the strut tops when I did the spring, but at £45 for the mount and £24 for the bearing, I thought they were just trying it on .. clearly not..
