Morning
i thought I would post my thoughts on my 62 plated berlingo multispace (auto)
this is my 3rd berlingo in the last 7 years, and is not coming upfor 3 years.I wanted a workhouse, as I hd a house in france, and wanted a cheap but reliable option. I bought my 1st from a dealership, second hand and was then offered a new one at 0% interest. 3 years ago i transferred that deal to a new 1, primarily as it was 0% interest and I was now being offered an auto gearbox. Apart from the remote key breaking in my hand, and an argument with the dealer as to who was responsible, driving has been trouble free and clocked up 35000 miles. Next week it goes in for service, HP then paid off, andMOT in september.
There are 2 key scratches down the rear wings which I will have done. As retirement approachesm I will keep this vehicle for years to come, there seems to be little resale value , unless I trade it in for another citroen, and i would only do that in years to come for an electric c1.
I wish i had a built in sat nav, and a DAB radio, but otherwise I am happy with the spec. I am happy with the auto gearbox, except with the initial pick up, which I have leant to live with. I certainly dont nip out into a line of traffic, as i did with a manual gearbox.
I endorse everything said here about interior shortcomings, I have a thermo mug, which i hook over the centre box.
One criticism, I have used more headlight, break and side lights in this vehicle than all of my previous 12 vicles put together.
enjoy
