Disconnecting battery- BSI reset?
#1
Planning on whipping front seat out to fix base cushion as it has collapsed and feels like you're sitting on the floor- obviously this requires disconnecting battery for the seatbelt pretensioners.

If I do this will I need to reset BSI when I reconnect battery? This scares me a bit, as the door switches have been disconnected (can't find connectors in door pillars) which are needed to trigger BSI?

Or am I just being paranoid?

Use the 3 min rule to allow the BSI to go to sleep before disconnecting.

Job done! Front seat cushion had collapsed and felt like was sitting on the floor, done an "alternative" repair to the seat using wire running between the frame!

A lot comfier and firmer now.

Just tackling central locking now- a bit trickier!
