I bet that 4Gallon oil isn't supposed to be changed during the lifetime of the tractor...
Or it doubles as Hydraulic oil?

If it ain't green, it's not a hydraulic system I know all that much about...
gearbox oil will be used for the hydraulic rear lift and for external feed to tipping trailer or whatever, a "proper" tractor could have 20 gallons .... enough to fill the rams on a 20 tonne tipping traler. most likely ep90 gear oil or an "agricultural multi use"" very few tractors have a hydraulic system with a seperate reservoir, in practice trailers and implements get fitted to several tractors so some of the hydraulic oil gets transerred between tractors every time a trailer (or any implement with hydraulic rams) gets swopped to another tractor
these little tractors started out in japan , 1970's kubuta and iseki were probably the main players that the chinese copied.

As an oil for transmission i used oil by our local manufacturers - see attach.
Cheap but quality oil. On the label you can find info about this oil in English.
Price for 10L can was - RUB 580 = GBP 5.87 (this was in May).
Now, the price for 10L - RUB 750 = GBP 7.60.
