As someone who lay underneath his 1.9D in sub-zero February temperatures, fitting a new sump, I wish you all the best in your Winter endeavours!

Hello Graham, very much tongue in cheek so I'm really sorry if you felt uncomfortable in any way.

Fix her up sometimes the old stuff is best for fixing yourself, brings back memory's of changing a driveshaft and wishbone on an old cavalier and it started snowing!

Are you mad?
Absolutely 100 per cent No.
I would love to be able to do all that kind of work myself.
The thing with these new fangled cars, theres more to put them into limp mode, and when they go wrong, half the time the 'mechanic' cant fix them, and they have to book in a mega expensive 'technician'.

Update , work will soon start on the Slug! I have changed my mind on my choice of struts as I bought some cheapish ones k?b you know the brand, anyway they are nasty oil filled units with poor welding and poor paint in fact they look s??te, I have managed to get some Bilstein B4 Gas struts from Germany, fussy I know but I dont plan on rebuilding it again for a while , speak soon Paul.
