[Engine] 1.6 16V (2005) won't start. Throttle body?

My Berlingo started behaving badly a week ago. It did not speed up over 40km/h and turned off in front of my garage.
It did not start after that. There was a code for crankshaft sensor so I replaced it (may be from my clutch repair since it was disconnected back then).

I lifted up the ignition coils and placed old spark plugs into it. I grounded the spark plugs and they fired just fine when I tried to start the engine.
Petrol pressure comes up and injection nozzles get the control voltage. So if it gets spark and fuel why does it not start?

Next I checked the throttle body. The valve is totally closed all the time even while starting without touching the gas pedal. There is a high pitch noise coming from the throttle body. The valve does open erratically if you press the gas pedal while starting.

A new one costs 199€ locally so I want to check here if there is other things like sensors to check before ordering the spare throttle body.

Is this a known fault?

PS: spark plugs, air filter and petrol filter have been replaced. Throttle pedal level shows correct position via OBD in Torque Pro. No new codes after clearing the P1336 error code.

Have you tried re calibrating throttle body?

It's a 1.6 16V engine. I guess the engine code is MFNFU.

How is the throttle body calibrated?

Gonna have to guess on the year then! This is for Bosch ME7.4.4

• leave the ignition on for at least 10 seconds (do not switch off the ignition
during these 10 seconds and do not press the accelerator pedal),
• switch off the ignition and leave it off for 15 seconds (the ECU records the
motorised throttle programming parameters in the EEPROM - this is the
POWER LATCH phase),
Warning: Do not switch the ignition on during these 15 seconds.

The year model is in the title (2005). I'll try this reset procedure......

The engine code should be TU5JP4 on that year, same as mine.

That is the code. NFU = TU5JP4.
The calibration procedure did not have any effect. The valve stayed close during the calibration.
I'll remove and dismantle the throttle body.

The throttle body was clean inside the electronics compartment. Pin 1 is for negative and pin 2 for positive voltage.
The valve opened with supplied voltage.

So either the position sensor is broken or there is no fault in the throttle body. The position sensor wipers and the resistive pcb looked fine. Hard to know without info about the correct resistance.

More observations. After I turn on the ignition there is a high pitch noise coming from the throttle body valve motor. It lasts for about 10s. Normally you can push the valve open by fingers. During the high pitch noise the valve is very stiff and can not be pushed open --> there is reverse voltage applied to the valve motor.

Motor inside TB is stepper motor. If I remember correctly when you apply current to motor and want it to turn 1/8 (or 1/16) of step
motor produces high pitch noise. It seems that your motor can't make full step. I don't know if that motor is required to make
full steps...
To rule out problem in TB motor, connect car to Lexia and go to TB test. If TB passes test and no error is shown it must be ok.
But again, if TB is bad , it would raise OBD error you can read with cheap OBD reader...

From the pictures on web it is going to be hard to replace only TB stepper motor.
