c15 gearbox

hi guys ,dus a gearbox of a c15 1.9 d fit in a berlingo  i know it fits but the gear selector pin on de back has a different shape the blingo has a 90° bent in it and the c15 let say a75° bent in to it and the head sits a bit lower so the question is really can i select my gears if that make sense.
im asking this because i have a re-con box on the shelf of a c15 . Huh

Good question and i doubt anyone on here will be able to give you a definitive answer because no one has done it before.

I suspect the driveshafts will be different? Have you tried to contact a gearbox specialist they may know?

ill try tomorrow the drive shafts but think the inner heads are the same.

shafts fit is mated up to engine tomorrow she is going in

thanks pk7478, i will see tomorrow what happens it fits that i know already just the gear change mechanism has me a bit worried the ball joints fit the have the same thickness but possible some fed-ling with the sticks length.

and it works just fine direct swap no fedling with anything at all.

I fitted a 206 1.9 diesel gearbox to a 2.0 hdi partner had to change the ends on the selectors from one to the other and speedo signal output casting it was all interchangeable and I think I had to change thrust bearing and pivot and fork. The flywheel sensor and probably the mountings. I had checked beforehand the gear and final drive ratios and although not identical when total ratios worked out were very similar. A gearbox with correct codes was unavailable at a reasonable cost, the 206 box was £20 quid and took a day of my time to change. Two years on and still working fine. I want 100% sure it would work, but it's fine, still have original gearbox that needs synchro on third doing but inside of gearboxes is a bit beyond my capability.

mine was 1.9 xud and box was of c15 1.8 or1.7 xud.
