Before you unplug anything you must disconnect the battery following this procedure
http://www.bba-reman.com/content.aspx?co...ot_process
Failure to do this can make the BSI throw a wobbly or even corrupt its software.

Once battery is disconnected before doing anything give the airbag system time to shut down fully.10 to 20 minutes I allow 30 minutes.
Best advice I can give you is disconnect the battery now, allow time period above for airbags.
Reconnect all the plugs you have unplugged.
Reconnect battery following BSI Reboot process.
Make sure everything works ok.
Then disconnect battery again using method in above link.
Allow time for airbag system to shut down.
You should now be ok to start unpluging connections to enable removal of dashboard

Disconnect & reconnect battery following BSI reset procedure.

Has your vehicle got a fuel supply cut off switch if so check it as it might need resetting.
Let us know how you get on .

Nice to see you have got it sorted:woop:
Don`t forget in future to follow BSI procedure before disconnecting anything, also be careful if ever fault finding with multimeter,as a multimeter can set an airbag offSad
