Berlingo 2014 cooling fan help( question???)
#1
hi there, new to forum but help needed please. Been reading through posts but can't find answer needed.
Got Berlingo 2014 1.6 Hdi WITH A/C- bought as salvage with front damage ( not heavy)
All parts replaced BUT:
When key on ignition with engine on - cooling fan goes on straight from first moment engine on
Temperature gauge looks ok and slowly gets temperature built up
Inside cabin temperature getting hot so I don't think there is air lock
When engine switch off- cooling fan stays on for about 5min and then goes off( thats when engine temperature on gauge shows around 60-70 c
Also can smell a bit of extra temperature/overheated smell coming from around engine when it works a bit (temperature gauge shows 70c)
There is no gas on aircon system been put in so far
Also got yellow triangle shown on the clock with no faulty codes (checked with autel basic scanner)
Please help with suggestions as so far thinking of cooling sensor replacement -green one on thermostat body
IS IT NORMAL FOR COOLING FAN TO GO ON FROM FIRST TIME WHEN ENGINE RUNNUNG (when its cold) also its not matter when A/C on or off- fan stays constantly on.
Many thanks Guys in advance
