Hello All,
I am the proud new owner of a 64 plate Multispace XTR Auto, and I have to say how impressed I am with her (my cars apart from a Lada some years ago, are invariably female). I and my wife are newly retired, and for reasons that seemed a good idea at the time have moved from Blackpool to Leeds just over a year ago. We came into Berlingoland after a disastrous year with a campervan. The 'van itself which was Berlingo based was fine but we are not as mobile as we used to be and there simply wasnt enough room for us and the dogs. I noticed that a lot of the taxis round here are Berlingos, which is always a good sign, so here we are.
Having successfully locked myself in the back, by the simple process of climbing in and shutting the door, I have solved the rear childlock issue, which is not very well described in the owners handbook. What is needed is a small cranked screwdriver to get at the rubberised screws on the rear of the back doors near the lock. I would like some advice on the DPF/FAP system. Mine is a 1.6/90PS diesel, so is likely to have one. The handbook says the fluid goes in a blue cap next to the diesel filler. Mine hasnt got one........ Is it user fillable or dealer only or sealed for life ?? Does anyone know ???
Many thanks for any advice.
Richard
