Smoking and lexia

Hi.

I have a 07 1.6 HDI van and Replaced a injector in my van,  The van smoke's really bad now, All i see in rear view mirror is pure smoke.

Do i need to code the injector to the ECU?. And where's the best place to buy a lexia kit from. And which kit should i go for.

What colour smoke?

White/ grey smoke.

Was it a new injector? Same numbers?

2nd hand injector and it was tested and they said it was a good injector, and same number's 0445110239

There is a guy on this forum that remaps vehicles and he said the 1.6hdi will run if you replace the injectors but not correctly he stated that they do need programing to the vehicle to get it running right.

Always wary of 2nd hand. Assuming it's good, was it fitted with the correct new copper washer? Did you get the old washer out?. Seen this cause smoke issues before although usually black smoke. In theory they should be coded but in practice they are usuall ok as a straight swap

New copper washer fitted and old one removed and seat cleaned.
