Hi all, my speedo, fuel & revs dails fail on my 2005 2.0HDI van once I hit 50mph, abs, battery, airbag, caution warning lights also all come on. If I keep the heater blower on '2' it doesn't happen. There have also been instances of loss of engine revs and power for no reason.
Will this need an auto election to fix? I've never been to one before.
Thanks,
Lee.

When I stop at with the engine still running, the dials and radio all come back. Once I start to move again, I lose the dials and radio again.

Sorry mate I don't know, but I was thinking of the earth to the radio / instruments, you could try running a wire from the radio chassis to the car body to see if it makes a difference.

There are a load of earths in the front inner panel on the nearside near the headlight. Also there is an earth up near the roof aerial check if water has been getting in there. Its can run down the cable and corrode. If you search the site I'm sure there was a post by Rustcat some years ago that showed all the earthing points. Check battery connections and cabling to.
Are we there yet?????
