Removal of fuel rail connector
#1
Been struggling with this for about an hour now, I have bought a cheapo tuning box and it needs connecting to the fuel rail. How the hell does the connector pull off the rail switch?

Despite it being in the most stupid location, I have had to take the battery off, tray, wire harness etc. etc. etc. I still cant see it properly, it has some kind of yellow thing in the end and I can still only just about touch it, certainly cant get my hand round it. I see this as a deliberate attempt to stop you doing things like this.

I used to be able to change things like auto boxes on Jags but nowadays cant even get a simple connector off, yet I would still never ever go anywhere near a main dealer for anything, rather burn it first.

Funnily enough a berlingo 1.6 HDI, doesn't matter now anyway, ran out of patience and snapped the clip off, its fine because I have been able to cable tie it to the chip connector and the new plug from the chip goes onto the fuel rail anyway.

I will repeat though, what a stupid place for that plug. And also the chip hasn't turned it into a rocket ship either, but for £60 what do you expect, its a bit quicker though.
