1 out of how many 1,000's of middle lane hoggers? It's a farce when I see them on every motorway trip & they're not Berlingos.

Are they any less entitled to overtake than you?

The driver is at fault not the vehicle.
I'm glad that convictions are being given out for these idiot drivers.

Yeah they are but when they know they don't have the power to over take and just sit their side by side for miles and miles,

If you are travelling at relevant speed limit in the middle lane are you hogging it?

If you're not overtaking, then yes.

Why's it taken three years for ONE fine to be issued? I meet these morons every time I drive anywhere.

There's nothing wrong with trucks overtaking. As long as there's something to their left and they're moving ahead of them they can take as long as they like about it. The problem is when people are overtaking fresh air.

My dilemma is what should I do when I'm doing 65mph on cruise control in the left lane and come up behind someone doing 60 in the middle lane? Should I switch two lanes, possibly holding up people in lane 3 who want to do 70, or should I illegally undertake them in the left lane? There isn't a right answer and I'm never sure what to do. If I go into lane 3 then they get a good dose of full beam as I go across their back, and if I undertake then I blare the horn - only to make sure they're aware of me of course.

You can't undertake as the law says,
