Officially a Berlingo Owner

So, I picked up my shiny white new XTR Monday and am officially a Berlingo owner. It's the ETG S&S with the Auto Pack and the Serenity Pack with parking sensors and camera. I have tried them all out Smile he one think I have yet to see how it works is the Active City Brake. Drives differently to my out going Saab 9-3 Aero convertible Smile  but I think it is easily possible to have twice the driving experience with half the power. Smile

Not White!!!

Great colour for not showing scratches but a royal pain in the backside to keep clean.
Dead fly's in the summer are a nightmare to clean off as you can see every dot!

I like the white, even though mine's black.

My previous car was about 150bhp, but I don't miss it. Berlingo driving is all about chilling out and enjoying it, especially with the lovely ETG box. You may need to adjust to it, but it's great once you develop an understanding.

I am not sure what the issue is with the ETG box. You put your foot down and it goes Big Grin I've put 300 on the clock so far and it is brilliant on the roundabout infested A27. I use the speed limiter for the 40MPH bits and the when on the 70MPH bits have the cruise set to 72MPH, that is 70 according to my GPS, and then on the exit of the roundabouts, above 25MPH, just hit the cruise on button and let the car decide how quick it wants to go. Smile

White had to be the colour since I am going to use it for camping...best way to stay cool whilst chilling. As for cleaning, well that is something that you do once a year isn't it? Big Grin

I agree that the ETG is fab - I read a few bad words before I got it, but I'm very glad I did.

The only criticism I have is that it can't read my mind. So if I'm slowing towards a halt then decide to go again it can get a bit flustered and jerky. I think it's possible to get the jolt from the Start-Stop restart through the transmission if you confuse it enough. I've adapted, and just give it a second to compose itself before going again.
