OK on to my next problem.
So my dad van came with a tape player so he managed to get his hand on a factory CD player but when we plug it in and get a radio station it beeps like every 5 seconds same when we put in a CD.
Any ideas? he wants the CD player for his music.
Cheers,
Bruce

Factory radios are coded to each individual vehicles so what you need to do is find some one with the lexia / diagbox citroen software and get them to code it to your vin number. Put a request on here as there may be some one near you willing to code it for a beer or two or have a look on French car forum at the map for members near you. There are also people on ebay who can do it for you or citroen dealers can do it but make sure your wallet is full of folding stuff.
Are we there yet?????

Just a thought...
If a new radio is coded to the vehicle does the code replace the old one or can the old radio be fitted back again without coding ?
