[WTB] M59 tow bar wanted.
#1
Am after a traditional two bolt jobbie rather than a swan neck type as I would like to add my bike rack too for double usefulness. Had the Berlingo only a few days have already fitted a roof rack and wish to load it more  Big Grin.
Much obliged.
Had to set a prefix not sure what they mean though done that. Sorry I’m new round here.

Something to be aware of before loading up your new motor like a sherpa, is that the rear axles of older Berlingos can be a weak point - check out this youtube video:

And also this forum thread (which lists symptoms, though unfortunately the pics have disappeared):

Might not be anything to be too concerned about if the vehicle hasn't been overloaded in the past or driven on dodgy roads or through floods (water getting into bearings), though it seems that loading the vehicle up and towing can precipitate a failure, see:

Prefix: WTB = want to buy. WTS = want to sell.

I’ll check the vids later. Am aware of the beam possible issues it’s my first berlingo though not my first rodeo with beamed psa vehicles. Am taking the it will be fine approach with the thinking that if it goes amd the van is otherwise good then maybe a solid beam and airbags could be made to work. The added benefit of not looking overloaded is a plus.
