Knocking
#1
I have recently noticed a knocking mainly when I turn the engine off or if I am turning in reverse. Anyone had this problem before? If so what could it be? Thanks

The dog bone lower engine mounting can work loose with time, check the 16mm bolt for tightness, it needs to be very ! Tight.
Sometimes the captive thread strips and you need to replace this with a nut, nylon variety is best.

It's getting a service tomorrow so will have a look when it's getting the oil drained. Thanks

Looks like it's the actual rear engine mount bushes. I don't fancy taking the drive shaft out so how difficult is this to do in place?

Great advise! Was only slightly loose but a good tighten and the knocking is away. Thanks very much for your help  Smile
