Component Speaker Upgrade
#1
Hoping someone will know.

The factory cable for the front speakers, does the tweeter cable link at the mid/woofer/speaker in the door or is it linked at the back of the stereo.

Reason I as is I would like to use factory cable for my components but also would like to run them with the crossovers, problem is the tweeters are in the top of the dash and the mid/woofer/speaker is in the door.

Thanks

I would suspect it will be inside the dash.

Might be easier just running a new set of speaker wires, meaning you can also put back to standard when you sell.

Changed my stereo tonight. There was a hand's free phone kit installed so pulled all that kit out.

As for the speakers the mid's and tweeter's are bridged at the stereo ISO connection so should be able to put the filters behind the stereo as there is loads of space behind there.
