Berlingo 1.9d high idle??
Just wondering if anybody knows the idle speed of a Berlingo 1.9d? I've just got one (04 1.9d multispace) and to me it seems a little high, I'm sure my old mk1 multispace 1.9d wasn't as high!
It idles cold at around 12 and just a mil over 10 when it's warm.
I can't be doing with it revving while sat in traffic!!!  Big Grin
Is there any way of turning it down? I read somewhere on here that it may be the idle temp control thingy  Big Grin - if so, where does it live? (I need a Haynes bible  Big Grin
And can it be cleaned or just better to replace?
It does sound like the cold start playing up but they vary in type, if i remember correctly depending on the type of pump you have you can override the cold start by adjusting the stop on the pump.

Yes a Hanes would help if you dont know what you are looking at.
