Welcome
Whereabouts in Ireland are you Ryan?
I've spent many, many weeks over there fishing over the past 20+ years. Love the place. Although I have to say I preferred the slow paced, relaxed Ireland of old. Irish punts and all that, before it got a bit carried away with the EU and bypasses and boom and bust era!

Hi Tucker
Im actually from Co Antrim in northern Ireland! Its a quiet wee seaside town on the most northern point of Ireland called Ballycastle! You would like it here although im not too sure what its like for fishing. I see people fly fishing in a river at the bottom of my road at a certain time of the year! I loved fishing on the few times ive done it but never really knew what i was doing
Yea you are right about the south the Euro has the place ruined. Myself and everyone i ever talk too used to love heading over the border maybe every month but since the euro id say thats changed to twice every three years. £5.50 a pint is just scary!

I know. It's too expensive these days, not been for 2 years, but hoping to go over next autumn.
I've not been that far north. Mostly been around, Cavan, Claire and Rosscommon. Furthest I got was near Enniskillen on the Erne system.
I always wanted to go up to up to the Donegal area though with the family. I know it's supposed to be great up the northern coast area.
My local is £2.40 for a real ale so £5+ is a bit of a gripper!!
