[Engine] reverse light switch

How can I change my reverse light switch by myself?
berling 1.9 2006

thx Smile
It's very easy. Head and hands. It is all what you need Smile
In defence of PK,I think he meant only that it was a simple job.I wish my Russian was 1/2 as good as his English.

I don't think that any offence was intended
@ Ron. Don't mean to be pedantic but does that post talk about the brake light? The reverse light switch is in the gearbox. It's fairly easy to spot and easily accessed from the front of the car iirc. Look to the left of the battery on the gearbox disconnect the connector and unscrew the switch. You'll see the brass plunger in the end of the switch will be worn or it just wont work (try a continuity test). It is a 10 minute job.

Yes Ron. I mean namely this Smile
In fact It is not necessary to drain a geardox out or unmount something terrible like CVs or gearbox itself.

@fdanfn Please, see a picture below. Reverse sensor is on position no.19

Can somebody please post an idiot proof diagram for complete newbie on where to look, etc.
Reversing lights not working, both bulbs gone, replacement bulbs dont work. Want to check switch before coughing up for an auto electrician.
Many thanks

Did you sort out the issue with just the switch ?
