Running a seperate power feed
#1
Hi there, I am tempted to run a seperate power feed to the rear of my van so I can have a fused busbar to allow extra accessories to be wired up easier.

Has anyone done this and if so how did you run the feed from the battery into the rear

You'll probably find Vigo did the work for you - Have a look behind the LH rear trim in the back. You'll probably find it has the towing prep in place, which includes a large battery live, to make it live you'll probably need to add another maxi fuse in the fuse box behind the engine ECU.
Have a search for towing electrics posts, you'll see what I mean.

They had to get 1 run for the towbar electrics (i fitted it all apart from connecting electrics on my van) took them 1hr to run the perm live and connect all towbar electrics up so cant be a big job
