hi jeffers. ive come across this problem earlier in the year. my friend had a Citroen C4 or C5 not sure witch but it had the same engine and turbo as the berlingo MKII 1.6 HDi. he was forever having problems with his turbo, all down to the oil feed pipe. long story short he got rid due to repetitive problem. i recently got a new 2011 MkII berlingo this year and my mate had a look within the engine bay to find the same engine as his C4/C5 But with one Change. a Different oil feed pipe for the turbo. Have Citroen cured this fault ? its looks Possible. if you like i can post a picture of the new MKII engine.
hope this has been helpfull

Interesting reply BL. A piccie would indeed be good.
I don't have a problem at present but as both the old and new shape
Berlingos have ostensibly the same 1.6 engine I didn't see why the new twin scroll turbo shouldn't, with minimal modification, be bolted on to the older set-up.
