Replacement of front seats

Hi Guys, I'm new to this site and Berlingo, so try bear with me if this is a well known topic.

I got hold of a good Berlingo 2,0 HDI from 04 (only done 220.000 miles, almost brand new ). Can I replace the front seats with foldable seats from 3'rd gen Berlingo ? It's supposed to be rebuild into a small camper. I can easily find some at a chop shop but will they fit and anything in particular I need to be aware of ? Is the side airbag part of the seat is it was with the Xantia series 2 ?

The 2004 (M59) seats have a different floor fixing than the later (B9) models so can't be swapped. I used a tip & fold van seat on the passenger side of my first M59, but I did have a problem with the second M59 as it had driver & passenger air bags in the seats.
If you do a bit of reading around you'll be able to find some resistors that will fool the car into thinking it still has an airbag in the passenger seat, but it's up to you if you want to try it.

I do prefer the side airbag actually working in case it is needed now that they are there. Guess this isn't as easy as I hoped for. Thx for the reply
