Oh gawd, what a saga! Being of the un-male persuasion I was expecting to be ripped off so possibly over-compensated with the bargaining & research... it"s a month since I first saw it!! It's a 1.9, 51 plate multispace... and I'm very pleased so far! I was trying to get a good part ex price for my esteemed 15 year old micra. I think that 5 differing shades of faded, distressed effect paint is a sought after feature in a used car... they just couldnt see my point Rolleyes

Congratulations, what colour is it T? What sort of mileage/servicing/owners? Some pictures would be good.

It's a silver one, 2001, 107k on clock. Bit of a risk but probably the only one for sale in the area that i could afford! No history to speak of... but my MOT garage checked it out & approved it. I know what needs doing & as it's from a dealer I at least have 3 months warranty. It will be fantastic for my work as long as it goes ok, fingers crossed! It's very clean & looked after externally but I'm going to get it serviced properly. The final test was that it easily got up the very steep hill to my house. :woop: I will work on getting pics- may have to be phone ones as the camera won't upload for some reason!

As many people here will tell you, the 1.9 non-turbo Berlingo is not the most rapid vehicle in the world
BUT if it's in good condition and has been properly looked after, it will do you OK for many a year.
Us speed-freaks with the turbo-diesels run the risk of all sorts of nasties occurring but we do also
benefit slightly from lower fuel consumption.
Well done with your research! Confusedtudy: Welcome!
