Cheers, its the immobiliser code I need, I got a card with a 4 digit code on which came with the car, but so did an owners manual for a C2, so not gonna rely on it! Looking forward to the end of this saga!

Bsi was returned today fixed, rang citroen and got the transponder code, and went through the configuration, but it won't let me program my keys, keeps saying "key programming failed". Anybody got an idea of where I'm going wrong?

Can you check that link for me? It's sending me to a post about a tent sale.

Followed that guide to the letter, still no luck programming keys. I have noticed in pp2000 the key presence switches between present and not, I can get it to stabilise "present" by removing the transponder ring and holding the key next to it. Is it possible that a weak transponder could allow the car to start but not allow programming?

I had a trip to the scrappy today and picked up a couple of rings and a comm 2000 unit, all produce exactly the same results. Im going to try separating the blade from the fob, taping the fob to the transponder ring, and then programming.

Well it turns out citroen supplied me with the wrong code, which is why the key wouldn't program. New transponder allowed me to program the key, but obviously now my ecu won't unlock because the immobiliser codes don't match. So I'm guessing my only option now is to somehow get the ecu blanked and match that to the immobiliser code in the BSI.
