let us know if it improves things. ill do anything i can to keep bhp and mpg up

I will keep everyone posted, at the time of first starting this thread I had started to have problems with the engine management light coming on and going off for no apparent reason and was trying to find a cure. A build up of oily crud was seen on the mass flow sensor but further inestgation and hooking up to a mates code reader revealed a potential problem with the EGR valve sticking. That is another topic that I will finish writing up once I have got some cash together and bought my code reader.

Agh, I used electric component cleaner on my MAF sensor. That might be the cause of "limp mode" or whatever loss of power. 5 starts has not solved it. So I have to locate some isopropyl alcohol and clean it again.
