If you have standerd wheels then 5 mm spacers will be ok
I have alloys that are thicker than steel wheels and have had no problems.
Please note .
If you fit spacers if you dont get hub centric (sp?) spacers then the weight of the car is placed on the bolts and not the hub
I have read about wheels snaping when thrown into bends because of above said problem.
Do a google search for "do i need hubcentric spacers for 5 mm"
then make up your own mind
