Citroen assist.....not covered for flat tyre

ok so i opted to buy a Brand New Berlingo as i did 9 years ago, Got the ehdi xtr egs. And had my first flat tyre needing a roadside change since 2002 and over 250k. ok so it happens. managed to get to layby on busy duel carriage way.of course i had left the manual at home illyme: as still flicking through.not sure where the tools are to get at the spare.So a call 2nd call Citroen assist the first was to the Military Police in i think Belfast whos number had been printed in error.cratch:

OK so gave a near location and told to wait a few mins while patrol is alerted i said i would phone back with an exact location when i had it. Phoned back to be told that a flat tyre is not covered and please pay £120.:censored: or we leave you their.well ok i said that fine i'm not happy but will have to pay but have no credit card only cash.Thats no good can we phone someone else to get payment??. er well no its not possible in this case i have cash and will pay the patrolman alut:.At that point a patrol turned up. Great patrol changed tyre for me.I gave the man a nice tip.he did not ask for £120.:woop:

Looks like the Citroen assist does not class a flat tyre as a breakdown. so thats like my insurance company that would not insure the car until 1 March despite the fact it was delivered on 27 feb.No off road cover no theft nothing possible until 1st March as car did not exist. :brickwall:
