I dont know where to post this but I will do it here!
I was just doing an oil change and while underneath (my recently aquired Berlingo) noticed a rubbing mark on the passenger side half shaft. On inspection it turned out to be from the clutchcable that was not in the retaining hook on the chassis member (there are two more on the clutch casing). Somehow it had become free and so dropped down onto the halfshaft below causing what would become 'catastrophic' damage to the cable. May be worth a quick check just in case.
Oh, I am assuming that the cable is routed that way, the hook is obviously not used for anything else and it is a perfect place to keep the cable in a good place. If anyone knows differently could they please let me know? Thanks.
