bonnet stay clips?

Hi,
Just getting familiar with my 2006 berlingo. Opened the bonnet and the bonnet stay is hanging loose on the hole and doesn't appear to have any clips to hold it when the bonnet is shut. Where should the bonnet stay locate? At what angle to the hinge hole? Where should the clips be, if any?

Pretty sure (from memory) the clip should be next to the screenwash filler cap.

ah right, many thanks. I've just had a look and there is an empty hole at the base of the screenwash filler which would seem logical. It's always difficult with a new car to identify these little problems as all the pics I can find on the web show the bonnet propped open with the stay. Is there just the one clip to retain the stay then?
