what is the idling speed of your van ? mine seems to be running very fast, 1000RMP..

800rpm idle factory setting in fact that seems to be the same on alot of modern diesels

Hello there!
This is my first post!
My van used to idle around 900-1000rpm when i first had it but slowed it down to 800.
But ive always noticed before and after the revs would be lower when starting cold but would raise when warmer
Does anyone know why?
